VERAMàND provides an artistic, professional and civilised environment for everyone to work and grow. Mutual respect for all people’s personalities and everyone’s freedom of expression is considered to be the base for individual, professional and artistic development. Any behaviour of discrimination or bullying, related to national identity, skin colour, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic that might be considered as a reason for discrimination, will not be tolerated, before, during or after classes, while anyone is a registered student, instructor or visitor. In case such incident of disrespect/discrimination occurs, the Academy reserves the right to terminate any co-operation with the person responsible. In such a case we do not return any paid fees.

Please note that by starting any type of a cooperation with VERAMàND Creative Platform (any type of service, including a course at VERAMàND ACàDEMY, an artistic contract at VERAMàND ARTiViTY, a studio service at VERAMàND STUDiO) you automatically accept our regulations, terms & conditions. VERAMàND reserves the right to terminate the co-operation with any student who fails to respect and follow any of the regulations, terms and conditions of participation to our courses, without providing any financial or other compensation.

VERAMàND ACàDEMY: MISSING SESSIONS

VERAMàND ACàDEMY provides you with the complete schedule (dates & times) of all sessions, meetings, lessons, workshops, and classes, on the first session of your registered course.

The Academy pays huge attention to the excellent quality of the education provided, as well as to all students’ commitment. In case you miss any sessions, for any reason, please note that you agree to the following:

You should primarily inform the Academy (and not your instructor) at least 48 hours ahead.
It is your responsibility to ask the Instructor to provide you with the content of the session(s) missed.
Group-session(s) missed cannot and will not be rescheduled or re-delivered for any reason.
Private-session(s) missed will be rescheduled only if you inform the Academy 48 hours prior to the pre-announced time/date of the session, otherwise the sessions will be lost and will not be rescheduled. This period of 48 hours is crucial for both the Academy’s Administration, as well as for the Instructors. In many cases, Instructors travel from different cities to be on time for the course they teach. Instructors arrange their schedules according to the Academy program of study, thus the period of 48 hours is extremely important to be kept.
You should not miss more than a quarter of the total sessions of the course (1/4), per semester, otherwise it will be difficult for you to continue your course. The Academy may decide to terminate any cooperation with students/instructors if missing sessions is a continues phenomenon.
You should not arrive late at any lessons/sessions. In case you do that regularly, the Instructor and the Academy reserves the right to ask you to stop attending the course. Delaying to arrive for a group session affects the groups’ well-being and balanced operation, as well as the quality of the training delivered. Delaying to arrive at a private session negatively affects the Instructor-Student(s) relationship.
All above terms and conditions apply for online courses too.

VERAMàND Creative Platform: PAYMENTS

Most of Veramand's courses and services are what we call "packages". They contain meeting hours, training hours, and services, that add value to the package (i.e visiting teachers, visiting artists, recording sessions, media recordings & productions, documentation of final projects etc.). Thus, these "packages" have a pre-agreed price, calculated in euros, payable either as a whole or in monthly instalments, payable at the beginning of each month, regardless of the number of sessions delivered in any month. Note that any pre-payments are not refundable.

Especially for the Academy’s courses, a healthy operation is based on all payments made on time. We need to make sure that all instructors’ fees, visiting instructor’s fees, training spaces’ fees, educational expenses, and promo costs are being paid on time, without any delays, in order to ensure the maximum quality of our services. For this reason the Academy follows a strict policy on fee payments and reserves the right to stop any co-operation with students/instructors, who don’t respect our regulations, as this may affect the quality of our services.

Please Note that by starting any cooperation, course or service provided by our Platform ,you automatically accept to respect and follow our regulations, terms & conditions. The Platform reserves the right to terminate the co-operation with any student/instructor/professional who fails to respect any of the regulations, terms and conditions, without providing any financial or other compensation.

Updating these terms & conditions:

The Platform reserves the right to amend or edit or change any of these terms and conditions at any time. We keep these terms in public view on this website (here). By continuing to attend a course, it is understood by all sides that you continue to agree with the our regulations as described on this page.
