3D-Musical: Advanced Level
Module Description
Going deeper from Basic to Advanced:
On the Basic Level you were given the Basic, Expression and Projection Tools, focusing mainly on yourself and your technique. On the Advanced Level, you will be focusing on the actual connection with the role you are performing, analyse the persona of the role, emotionally and vocally. In musical theatre we interact with our audiences by projecting our soul through singing. In order to understand how projection works to achieve a connection you will need to understand how we connect with the audience. You will learn how to practically use the tools given during the Basic Level in regards to time, space and emotional charge.
You will create an emotional journey through time and space, in order to take your audience onboard, and connect with them on a very intimate and personal level. The dimensions of time and space are very crucial to all performing arts. Musical performance is no exception, as it is an art that manages sounds and silence in time, creating an emotional space.
