3D-Acting: Basic Level

Knowing thyself:

The Basic level is introducing you to the world of the 3D•Acting® method. This is your personal theatrical reality, your acting world. The world of your inner voice. The place where you can express freely.

The Basic Level focuses on various aspects of how each and every one uses the body and the voice, the breathing cycles, and how each vocal individual operates in a natural and effortless way. The tools provided during the Basic Level teach you how to position your voice and resonate it, depending on the meaning you want to give and the emotional charge you want to fill the words with.

You will learn how to use your body muscles during the breathing process, so you can control your voice better, and how to design your interpretation based on the provided tools. You will develop your own personal “symbolic language” in order to create your acting design. With these tools you will be able to enrich your vocal abilities, differentiate your phrases, "light up" your words, use pauses effectively. You will learn to manage vowels and consonants, and use them to your own benefit, and project your voice to your audience.
